This is a superb career opportunity for a high-quality professional accountant with a background in manufacturing to join this award winning, privately-owned SME business with over 30 years trading history. The company is the leading UK manufacturer of an innovative range of site safety solutions, utilising expertise in plastic moulding technologies across composites, injection and compression moulding processes.

Our client has an excellent reputation for its design, product development and innovation capability and is recognised for its leadership in the use of recycled plastics in its product range.  Widely distributed across a diverse customer base it serves sectors such as highways, construction, utilities and events where on-site safety and security are key customer requirements.
Ideally you will be expected to live within close proximity to the company’s UK location, a single 8-acre manufacturing site in rural Oxfordshire. It offers the successful candidate a very attractive lifestyle location from which you will support the needs of both the UK domestic market, as well international sales to over 30 countries, including significant growth plans for the USA and Europe.

The business has a very strong balance sheet, is profitable and has a significant growth agenda.  This is a broad ranging role which is both hands-on and strategic providing support to the Finance Director in delivering the growth strategy.  Working closely as part of an experienced team, you will be involved in a full mix of financial management, planning and controls with key elements being to provide commercial analysis to support and improve profitability, to improve and implement systems and procedures in order to support the group structure and be a key stakeholder in building a robust finance team so that the planned growth both UK and internationally can be successfully managed.

A highly impressive individual who is comfortable working in an ambitious, successful SME such as this is required.   You will need a strong combination of technical accounting skills and a hands-on can-do mentality.  You will need to be a qualified chartered or management accountant (ACA or ACMA) with post qualification experience in a manufacturing environment including international accounting and consolidation experience.   You will also need to have strong experience in ERP and have excellent IT skills.  You will enjoy the diverse range of challenges this role offers, be highly numerate, with a strong attention to detail, be a team player and bring a positive can-do approach.

This is an excellent career opportunity which is heavily focused on delivering the growth agenda in a company which has a very strong future, and works through an open collaborative culture.
