Our client, a well-established Insurance business, specialising in Engineering, Construction and Renewable Energy, has a very exciting opportunity for a Business Development and Distribution Director to join the team. 

This is a key role, having prime responsibility to successfully deliver the Company’s ambitions and strategy for profitable growth, with responsibility for both business development and distribution. The role is uniquely placed to be able to positively influence the company’s standing and brand within its chosen markets and meaningfully contribute to the Company’s over riding ambition to become the customer’s first choice for engineering insurance solutions and services.

The Company holds a strong market position with huge potential to achieve its’ ambition to profitably double market share within the next five years. This role will significantly contribute to the development of strategies to achieve this goal and lead in their successful implementation.

Product and distribution innovation both form a core part of the Company’s future focus and its ambition; and notably, this role has an exciting part to play in the development of innovation strategies that respond to changes in markets needs and risk appetites as well as how customers can access the Company’s products and services.

The role has leadership responsibility for a large team based in the UK and Ireland with future growth plans into Europe.
