Jumar are working exclusively with a large private sector organisation to engage an interim Head of Architecture to lead a group-wide architecture function. The role requires an individual who is both strategic and hands-on. You'll be part of the senior leadership team within technology and be responsible for IT strategy (in conjunction with the CIO) together with ensuring the architecture function designs and delivers the IT operating model and appropriate enterprise architecture. The hands-on element of the role will be primarily challenging your team to ensure proposed solutions are fit for purpose together with ensuring teams and activities are integrated and aligned.

We're looking for an interim who can:

• Demonstrate successful leadership roles within architecture, in large organisations
• Can lead and challenge a diverse team of Solution and Enterprise Architects
• Is able to represent technology across the wider organisation, from underpinning business cases and major investments through to working with the executive board
• The individual needs to be highly personable, diplomatic and sensitive to the complexities of larger corporates. The successful candidate will be a collaborative leader, supporting and challenging colleagues to deliver outstanding results through a period of transformation.
