My client, a recruitment consultancy, are seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead and manage all the financial activity for the organisation. This will include ensuring all accounting activities are compliant with regulations, producing forecasting models and evaluating the potential risk in investments.

You shall be responsible for:

• Strategic financial management and management of finance team.
• Ensuring robust cash flow management, bank reconciliations and bookkeeping.
• Providing analysis for threats and opportunities within the various business units.
• Budgeting and risk management.
• Creating forecasting models.
• Managing contract and permanent recruitment accounting process, primarily be contract.
• Ensuring accurate reporting of information to board and investors.
• Ensuring statutory obligations are met.

Experience and qualifications required:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA).
• Degree educated
• Proven experience heading up a finance function either as a FD, Head of Finance or in a similar role.
• IT and International recruitment experience.
• Experience with strategic financial management with Private and PE owned companies.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• High level knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models.
• Proficient in excel and experience with accounting software.
