My client is a large FMCG business based in London who are undergoing huge transformation around their data systems and require somebody to help champion this.

My client is a large FMCG business who are growing both organically and through acquisition. They are investing tonnes into their Database and Business Intelligence infrastructure and are undertaking a journey into Data Warehousing.

Description

As a BI / Data Warehouse Developer you will work with the business to understand, define and help to design a Data Warehouse solution. You will bring together a variety of data sources and develop a solution that will meet business requirements utilising IBM InfoSphere DataStage.

Your role will gain support internally and from external vendors to assure the DWH solution is fit for purpose whilst also building dashboards to help user make more intelligent decisions.

Profile

Essential skills & experience:

  • IBM InfoSphere DataStage
  • SQL
  • Working in a Data Warehouse build project

Desirable skills & experience:

  • PostgreSQL (or similar such as Oracle or SQL Server)
  • Cognos BI / Analytics

Job Offer

My client are offering a salary up to £55,000 and the opportunity to be heavily involved in greenfield BI projects inclusive of a Data Warehouse build.
