Head of Corporate Development
Our client is the best-kept secret in cloud communications, but they're ready for their close up! That's where you come in. As they spread the word and bring more customers aboard, they need a Head of Corporate Development to join their merry band of misfits in London. You'll work as part of a young and vibrant team spread across San Francisco, Austin, Los Angeles, London, Brussels, Lasi, Seoul and Hong Kong.
Reporting directly to the CEO and coaching 1 associate, you will be:
- Analyzing corporate development opportunities and charting out the potential M&A landscape for the Group
- Working directly with CEO, CFO and other stakeholders to develop a corporate development strategy and playbook
- Focusing more on the business opportunity than on the financial mechanics of the deal
- Preparing business cases for each opportunity and presenting them to the Board of Directors
The successful candidate will either be a qualified Accountant, a MBA or have an alternative business degree. In addition, you'll bring prior experience gained within another high growth Technology group or a tech focused VC, with a proven track record in deal execution. Ideally, you'll have a deep understanding of the start-up ecosystem and SaaS/Recurring revenue models, with a hands-on and 'get-stuff-done' attitude, a contagious positive thinker.
