Charity for Civil Servants

The Charity for Civil Servants exists to offer advice, guidance and financial support to the Civil Service community, helping with all kinds of the complex, continually evolving challenges which anyone can face throughout their lives - from mental or physical health issues, through managing money and debt, domestic violence and relationship breakdown to caring responsibilities and bereavement.

Demand for help is growing, and the Charity wants to develop its services and do even more for the people it exists to support. But to do that it needs to build on its approach for sustainable income generation.

The Director of Strategic Marketing and Income Generation will be joining the team at a very exciting time, playing a key role in shaping the Charity’s future direction and developing the next iteration of its long-term strategy. You will determine the most effective ways in which the organisation can build on - and maintain - the kinds of help it can offer, for the generations to come.

You may have gained senior level experience in a charity, civil service or not-for-profit environment and will be commercially astute. Proficient at managing change in a dynamic environment, you will apply a combination of core skills in driving forward the Charity’s agenda - to deliver personalised help, enable donor acquisition, encourage retention through customised communications and measure the real impact of our interventions.
