Our Insurance client is seeking an Interim Finance Director.
Key responsibilities include:
- Budgeting, planning and forecasting
- Reviewing management reporting
- Tracking and managing risks and opportunities
- Managing cash flow and the capital position
- Driving margin generation
- Responsibility for the annual statutory financial statements, managing relationships with the auditors
- Business case preparation and post implementation review
- Ad hoc projects
- Acting as a business partner, including contract reviews
Candidate profile:
- A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with proven experience as a Finance Director within the Insurance industry
- Proven experience as a commercial finance business partner
- Broad experience including financial control
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Location: South East England
Start Date: July 2019
Duration: circa 6 months
Day Rate: circa £1,000 + expenses
