An instantly recognisable UK Housebuilder with an historic track record in the market place is looking to recruit a Technical Director based in London.
Client Details
A constituent of the FTSE 100 this UK Housebuilder has a strong reputation within the property sector as a whole and is one of the largest housebuilders. They have a genuinely national remit and have a commitment to creating communities and developing infrastructure alongside traditional housebuilding. A new opportunity has been created for a Technical Director to operate at group level from London and drive continuous improvement to the construction process.
Description
This Technical Director role is seen as a key leadership position across the group and requires someone with excellent management abilities as well as a strong background in technical roles. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing "best practice" across the group
- Ensuring that delivery is both professional and commercial
- Provision of technical support to business unit teams in complex matters
- Taking a lead role with Procurement & Supply Chain to develop innovative solutions to technical issues
- Partnering with the Head of Design to improve the quality of the output across the portfolio
- Owning the recruitment, training, and development of this new Group Technical Team
Profile
As a strong applicant for this Technical Director position you will:
- Demonstrate an excellent level of technical knowledge
- Possess an excellent understanding of the housebuilding market (ideally from previous exposure)
- Have a background in designing and implementing best practice on a large scale
- Show an ability to make commercial decisions and implement strategy
- Have a proven ability to lead teams and build key group level relationships
Job Offer
The offer to the successful Technical Director with this UK Housebuilder will be £90,000 - £110,000 depending on experience plus benefits including performance based bonus, private healthcare, corporate pension scheme, generous annual leave allowance, and a range of other company schemes.
