The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) leads the strategic direction and management of the company. As a thriving hub for innovation, we are seeking an outstanding leader who will be responsible for the overall leadership of this dynamic organisation. The CEO will lead a small and successful management team while providing the inspirational leadership to ensure Southampton Science Park remains at the forefront of commercial science entrepreneurship.
Reporting to the University of Southampton Science Park board, you will be a highly experienced leader who has operated at executive level. You will possess well developed external networks along with highly developed financial acumen, budgetary management and corporate governance skills. You will ideally have knowledge of working/interfacing with a research-intensive organisation like a university or other partners and will possess a deep understanding of distinctive business cultures (both established and SME/start-up). You will have charismatic relationship building skills with the ability to be an ambassador for the Science Park.
