My client are a financial services organisation who support & consult with a broad range of clients involved in the creation, facilitation & utilisation of capital market flows. Their vast capabilities mean they can provide a market leading, fully integrated, end to end service.


  • To lead the governance and co-ordination of contractual and procurement activity, bringing visibility, structure, control and best practise to bear in how LAS manages vendors, assets and SLA's through commercial arrangements, and the contract life-cycle
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with external suppliers
  • Maintaining and sustaining relationships with suppliers, as well as developing a long-term plan for strategic IT Vendor Management
  • Working with procurement to establish long term visibility and strategy on ongoing and potential suppliers, with agreed long-term criteria and alignment of strategy
  • Manage communication with IT vendors building awareness of organisational strategic direction, including changes and challenges
  • Centralise the approach to managing contracts, and providing clarity on their content including: vendor service level commitment,Contract terms and conditions; exist, breach, durations, break clause, renewals, credits tracking
  • Analysis of contract content
  • Articulating SLA commitments and metrics required for service reviews - including engagement of service credit models
  • Maintenance of the IT contracts database
  • Support in understanding T's and C's of vendors contracts and relationships
  • Managing the contract life-cycle, engaging in the products/solution life-cycle milestones (Contribute/Define)
  • Education of the IT community around commercial compliance against contract Ts and Cs
  • Identification of regularity risk within existing contracts and ensuring compliance in new or renewal contracts
  • Alignment with Asset Management to ensure consistency with asset controls across vendor licenses and services
  • Monitor performance of vendors to ensure delivery is line with contractual obligations and performance metrics developed
