The Commercial Director will oversee the midlands housing division, overseeing projects (£5-15m) within the Design and Build and Refurbishment sectors.

Description

The Commercial Director will be responsible for the strategic direction of the midlands housing business, supporting the Regional Director. They will be fully responsible for all commercial aspects of projects ranging in value between 5m and 15m across both the design and build and refurbishment sectors. They will oversee a team of commercial staff made up of a Commercial Manager, and 7/8 Quantity Surveyors at various levels.

Profile

The successful candidate will possess at least five years in a similar role working for a Housing contractor who focus on both design and build and refurbishment contracts in the affordable housing sector. They will be strategic in their thinking and very strong interpersonal skills at all levels.
