Description

Our VC backed client is looking to recruit a Director of Integration. Reporting into the Group CEO and Group Corporate Development Director, the Director of Integration will be responsible for all pre and post deal M&A integration activity, as well as ensuring that historic acquisitions have been fully integrated into the business successfully.

The Director of Integration will support the Group Corporate Development Director to undertake commercial and strategic due diligence as part of any potential acquisition, ensuring that the correct functional involvement is fully considered and governed. They will develop the overall commercial and operational integration plan, and budget, to ensure that all strategic and financial objectives and risk are understood and monitored. They will also support acquired management teams to prioritise workstreams and navigate the Group operating model.

The Director of Integration will be responsible for driving efficiencies and revenue synergies across technology, operations and HR; implementing best practice and a more rigorous approach to integration.

Part of this role will be to help identify potential future acquisitions, both here in the UK and in Europe.

Profile

To be successful in your application, you must have the following skills, experience and qualifications:

• Proven experience of working in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders
• Highly analytic with strong commercial, strategic and business acumen
• Business integration experience essential, either in-house or from a consultancy
• Experience of leading business transformation programmes
• Proven financial / budget control experience
• Used to working in an agile environment
• Effective project management skills
• Ability to lead operational improvement projects

Flexible location (West Yorkshire or Manchester), but with the expectation that you will be in the West Yorkshire office c 2 days a week
