Rate: up to £850 per day via Umbrella company
Duration: 4 months initially

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head of Commercial to join a leading Government organisation. You can be based at either Nottingham or Bristol

Key tasks and responsibilities:

- In this key role you'll build and develop a commercial function which supports the organisation's development into an intelligent customer of services to support transitions.
- Commercial leadership of early market engagement activity to test market viability, including developing effective market engagement mechanisms to enable such interaction whilst remaining within procurement parameters.
- Leading on the development of commercial principles for each deal and ensuring their effective incorporation in service agreements.
- To manage a portfolio of multifaceted commercial projects and commercial transactions

Key experience required:

- Public Sector / Government experience highly desirable
- IT services portfolio
- Someone who has dealt with large projects previously
- Contract management
- Strategic vision Category approach
- Full procurement process experience
- Change background and demonstrate driving change
