Business Executive - Technology
Our client is a UK based, market leading technology group operating globally in over 20 countries. The business has gone from strength to strength in recent years, led by a dynamic, high quality management team and has made significant strategic advances in transforming its products and business model. This has translated into exceptional top and bottom line performance, with revenue exceeding £1.5bn the company is poised for further market expansion.
A unique opportunity exists for a finance, strategy or investment banking professional to work alongside a Business Unit SVP, as a Business Executive. The job will primarily involve providing the SVP with outstanding executive support to manage the delivery of priorities and plans of a key business unit. The successful individual will act as the SVPs “Right Hand” on all key issues and will therefore have a wide ranging brief in helping prioritise that key issues are addressed and resolved with minimal disruption to business.
Our client invests valuable time and resources into developing Business Executives, via a world class programme, which includes training and growth workshops, alongside mentoring and involvement in high profile projects. It can be demonstrated that these roles provide a springboard (after c.18-24 months) into a leadership role within the company’s global operations and are considered a valuable way to introduce top talent into the Group.
The successful candidate will be a bright, engaging and driven strategy consultant, ACA or MBA who is keen to join a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. Candidates will ideally have experience gained working in a people driven/focused role, in the technology sector, and who feel comfortable with working with remote Executives across different time zones. The opportunity will suit an individual that wants to be part of something new and enjoys a challenge, is flexible, tenacious and can work independently or as part of a team. You will need a positive attitude to change and possess the ability to manage complex relationships and focus relentlessly on driving outcomes, without relying overly on the status of your managers to get things done.
