My client is a large FMCG business based near Slough who are hiring for a BI Developer to further enhance a SQL based SAP BW environment.

My client is a global FMCG business who are growing their BI team due to having more investment from stakeholders in making smarter decisions using Data.
Description
As a BI Developer you will work with stakeholders across the business and other business units to understand their data, BI and analytical needs. You will be part of a team of BI specialists who utilise a variety of tools and systems to assure that users' reporting needs are met. Your role will predominantly be working on the Database/Data Warehouse end of things, redesigning database schema and further enhancing the solution, with a smaller portion of the role including the development of dashboards using Power BI & QlikSense.
You'll mostly be working with SAP ECC and SAP BW with a SQL Server Data Warehouse. You'll be developing in T-SQL and writing stored procedures etc. whilst building ETLs and reports where necessary. You'll work in a large environment as part of a tight knit team.
Profile
Essential skills & experience:
- SAP ECC
- SAP BW
- SQL Server (ideally 2012 or newer)
- Database Development and Data Warehousing
Desirable skills & experience:
- SSAS / cube experience (Multidimensional or Tabular) / MDX or DAX
- Dashboarding using tools such as Power BI, QlikSense or similar
- Programming using languages such as Python, C# or similar
Job Offer
My client offers a starting salary of up to £55,000 + bonus and benefits.
