Financial Planning and Analysis Director needed for a global Technology company in Berkshire!

??90,000 - ??110,000 + Bonus and Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Planning and Analysis Director to join a global Technology organisation in Berkshire. You will report directly to the VP of Finance and will be responsible for leading and developing a team who will be responsible for all the FP&A work across EMEA.

You will be accountable for leading the Financial Planning and Analysis team a team to deliver all aspects of financial reporting, planning, forecasting and analysis along with business partnering in all financial decision-making across the business. You will also be responsible for improving processes and controls, driving a culture of business process improvement and cost efficiencies.

To successfully deliver in the profile position, you will need to have:

  • University Degree.
  • Qualified Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Strong business partnering skills, across all areas of the business.
  • Previous FP&A experience in a multinational tech or services business.
  • Strong technical accounting skills.
  • Previous experience of managing and developing a large team.
  • Experience of managing, influencing and challenging senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience of implementing new processes and improving controls.
  • Revenue Recognition and USGAAP knowledge and experience.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate and influence across all areas of the business.

A little more information about the role:

  • Lead the team in delivering month end, reporting and analysis, budgeting, forecasting to a high standard, making sure that all records are accurately reflecting the actuals.
  • Oversee the accuracy of the forecast, making sure that accuracy is priority.
  • Prepare business case studies for future investments as a decision basis for senior sales and executive management.
  • Champion and drive a strategy to deliver improvements to both process and system, looking both internally and externally to drive best practice.
  • Business partnering across all areas of the business to develop long term business planning.
  • Lead and develop the team to drive growth and performance, setting clear and achievable objectives and ensure development plans are in place
