Job Details

Our client, a major global manufacturing organisation, is currently looking for two French & Japanese speaking, country/site leads, with excellent operational and supply chain experience.

Core skills required:

  • French and Japanese language (mandatory)
  • Operational assessment (IT, Process and Organisation)
  • Project Management
  • Experience in high-tech manufacturing and supply chain environments (or exposure to), especially CRM/CPQ, S&OP, B2B sales and service delivery
  • Team and executive management; strong influencing skills
  • 80/20 mind-set; ability to rapidly separate 'noise' from 'substance' and focus on highest impact solutions
  • Proven ability to quickly win hearts and minds at multiple levels in local languages
  • Leadership and direction of cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills

Core tasks required:

  • With a small team of local staff, you will conduct business operational assessments and deliver recommendations for improvements across the French operations with links to Japan
  • Prioritise operational challenges based on real business benefit and work with internal staff and other team experts to quantify process/technical solutions
  • Identify and validate opportunities for improved operational performance at the organizational level
  • Provide consultation to local and project management and leaders on priorities, benefits and investment required
  • Assist the global team develop project roadmap to drive Phase II improvements, including the development of valuable 'quick wins' before September 30, 2019.

Work closely with overall business case lead to ensure coherent and validated business case for Phase II for senior management and board.
