Are you an Operations Director or even a Warehouse/Supply Chain/Logistics Director seeking your next career move? Are you looking to work in a business that is a critical player in the distribution of high-tech products to specialist and highly regulated engineering businesses. Do you create a culture of excellence in the teams you manage? Does this translate into world class customer engagement through efficient logistical operations?

If so and you would like to work for a business who pride themselves on the delivery of second-to-none service for their customers, then read on. This organisation offer state of the are warehousing and distribution facilities for their customers, most of whom use their proprietary technology to order goods to just-in-time schedules. Consequently, this client seeks a candidate who can demonstrate experience of managing distribution facilities that blend warehousing, materials handling, dispatch, bespoke customer inventories and general racking for thousands of precision engineered components. Because the client provides efficient product deliveries to highly regulated engineering OEMs in the defence and aerospace sectors, much of the inventory managed in the facility needs to be traceable back to the original manufacturer - so complying to strict operational parameters is crucial.

Consequently, the client's wish-list for a candidate looks a little like this:
  • Experience managing large teams of warehousing/logistics staff
  • Experience of running inventory, in-out and bespoke supply chain solutions for third parties (from one site)
  • Experience of managing supplies in regulated sectors such as defence, nuclear, aerospace
  • Experience of building a high performance culture
  • An ability to demonstrate a 'customer-first' mentality
  • An impeccable health and safety record
  • Able to manage projects and change

If this looks like you and you seek an opportunity to become an important part of the leadership team within a growing, critical partner to some of the UK's biggest OEMs, then please apply straight away. This client would ideally like a candidate in place as soon as possible.
