CMA Executive is exclusively partnering, with this high growth international manufacturer and wholesaler of a specialist high performance range of products, in their search for an experienced Commercial Finance Director. Currently the leading independent manufacturer within the UK, they also export to over 40 countries and have plans to expand this international footprint and achieve significant growth over the coming years. As part of the growth strategy, the business is looking to appoint a driven and motivated Finance Director, who can also demonstrate the gravitas and experience to deputise for the MD.

Reporting to the Board and external Shareholders, the Finance Director will play a leading role in planning and delivering continued, profitable growth, whilst strengthening the focus on improved financial and operational performance. Key responsibilities will include:

*Working closely with the Managing Director you will have full responsibility for the finance function, tasked with developing a robust financial infrastructure, capable of providing timely and accurate management information and reporting to the company's bankers, and external stakeholders
*Leading the development of financial and business strategy to ensure that both short and long-term company goals are met and exceeded
*Monitoring business performance and providing appropriate analysis and insight for areas of improvement, and play a commercial role in profit improvement and company expansion
*Work with large retailers in setting up the required back office functions in order to comply with their supply terms
*Responsible for setting product and pricing strategies
*Managing Foreign Exchange exposures
The ideal candidate will be a highly experience, (qualified ACMA preferred), but importantly will be enthusiastic, happy to be hands on and in the detail. You must be comfortable and experienced in working for a smaller entrepreneurial company, and importantly demonstrate an open and engaging leadership style. Previous experience in manufacturing is important, as is exposure to wholesale and working with larger retailers.
