A Head of Environment Growth & Partnerships required by our client to shape and deliver service plans that support delivery of the client's corporate strategy in relation to Environmental Growth and Environmental Policy.
The successful candidate will lead the client's statutory work as Lead Local Flood Authority
working closely with the Environment Agency, South West Water and DEFRA.You will also be the key Council adviser providing the support to the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Local Nature Partnership and the Cornwall and Tamar Valley AONB's and will commercially lead the Cornwall Archaeological Service.This interim role is designed to overlap with the incumbent preparing to leave and will cover the period of recruitment for a permanent postholder.
You will have a relevant degree level qualification or equivalent, and evidence of continuous
professional development.Experience in the leadership of relevant functions at management level, within a Public Sector organisation or other organisation of comparable scope and complexity.
Ability to articulate a clear vision for delivery of the service and how to improve and
transform outcomes.A proven record of successful change management, delivering new working policies and practices alongside cultural and structural change.Have an update to date knowledge and understanding of the law, government policy and best practice in relation to the functions within the portfolio.
A driving licence and access to own car as some travel will be involved with this role.
This role is in scope of IR34, contract expected to last up to 5 months.
