A Head of Digital Engineering is required by a well recognised, multinational organisation based in London where you will be responsible for leading a large Digital Engineering team (80 internal/ 80 external) and be responsible for further growing that team (80+ hires in the next year).
As the Head of Digital Engineering you will work closely with the Product Management team, provide direction and strategy for this client's digital products. You will mentor and execute Agile, Lean and DevOps best practices, embedding behaviours and principles and ensure that you are making best use of current engineering tools and capabilities.
You will be passionate about your trade and you will have a strong track record of leading large engineering teams, with an in-depth understanding of technologies, processes and architecture required for delivering high quality digital products.
Along with strong track record of leading multi discipline technology teams across multiple locations, and an in-depth understanding of technologies, processes and architecture required for the delivery of high quality digital products, you will also have the following:
- Excellent understanding of the full SDLC
- Operational experience of large scale cloud-hosted solutions
- A modern development practice enthusiast
