We have been recently appointed on a highly sensitive role by one of the leading London-centric residential developers who are looking to appoint a Head of Technical to lead the delivery of a major inner-city regeneration project towards the east of London. The business are seeking someone with a proven track record of working for residential developers or design and build contractors, with experience of having previously worked on large-scale, mixed-use schemes and/or residential towers. With extensive management experience, gravitas and credibility to lead an experienced team, they are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and the ability to thrive in what can be a highly pressurised environment.

Reporting directly to the Group Technical Director, the Head of Technical will take lead responsibility for the management of the design and technical elements the project. You will lead and manage an in-house technical team of over 10 staff, consisting of Technical Managers, Technical Coordinators and support staff. Whilst a solid design background is expected, the main priority will be to deal with the day to day issues arising during the current build stage.
