A leading multi utilities contractor require a proven Operations Director to lead their business forward.

Main Accountabilities:

• To oversee the delivery all work on a diverse portfolio of utilities connections projects the UK.
• Sets the overall standard on the project/contract, ensuring consistency across projects and in line with standards policies and procedures.
• Build and develop the wider operational , business development and project management teams to build management capability and deliver all aspects of the project/contract requirements.
• Experience in providing and sitting on strategic board meetings
• Responsible for strategic client relationship management.
• Contributes to work winning at a strategic level.
• Will be expected to resolve all operational and some strategic issues.
• Will support the Business Unit MD in developing strategic plans for the next 2/3 years.
• To comply with company standards, policies and procedures recommending improvements where necessary.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Ideally Professionally qualified - member of a professional body.
• Must have proven years of experience within multi utility connections sector ( gas,water,electric,telecoms )
• Proven P&L experience - growth of business units or companies within multi utilities
• Track record in managing top class delivery to end clients such as housing developers, large commercial sites, schools,hospitals etc
• Deep understanding of the multi utilities industry.
• Experience in recruitment of multi skilled construction teams within construction to deliver best in class service to all clients
• Able to develop positive working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
