Are you looking to work closer to home? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of HR Operations in a local authority in East London.

Post: Head of HR Operations

Rate: Circa £62.50 per hour

Temporary Position

We are looking for someone to manage a full range of operational services for Human Resources, providing highly specialised HR expertise and advice to all oneSource staff partner organisations.

The main duties of the role are as followings;

* To take ownership for the delivery of HR Operational services, acting as key point of contact for all queries regarding operational HR service levels.

* To implement HR policies, procedures and review operational processes to ensure these support the target operating model.

* To continuously build and maintain constructive relationships with Trade Unions, leading on corporate consultation or negotiation activities for areas of responsibility as appropriate.

* To use the established performance and development frameworks to lead, coach, mentor and develop direct reports to meet business needs.


* Experienced & credible HR Manager who has operated at a strategic level and can challenge the Status Quo.

* Must have Strong leadership skills with experience of managing a large team.

* Evidence experience of working closely with elected members.

* Up to date knowledge of employment & case law, ideally Local Government terms and conditions.
