Currently recruiting for a leading e-commerce company with a global presence based in central London who are looking to hire an Head of Infrastructure/Service Delivery to join their expanding team. Looking for a candidate has strong strategic infrastructure experience and can inspire and lead a significant global team with implementing best in class practice for infrastructure and Service, eg. ITIL service management, clarity of roles and responsibilities for support, hand over from development into support arenas with disciplined methodology for successful and sustainable support structures.

Responsibilities / Essential Skills

Build a successful partnership with partners to ensure clients receive the best and most effective service (within contractual SLAs, eg. LAN / WAN, telco providers). Integrate partner teams into the global Infrastructure and Service teams so they are able to fulfil their obligations including systems availability, applications maintenance, infrastructure management, help desk services and LAN/WAN support globally. Additionally, to manage Support services for product clients.

To be an ambassador for IT by delivering successful business systems that support the business and acting in a professional manner that engenders a culture of partnering and collaboration with the business.

- Strategy for monitoring and managing the performance of IT-related systems and services

- Systems availability through most effective up-time from the Data Centres (Enterprise & Distributed)

- Desktop support services to all key regional offices globally

- Global Internal Help Desk including offline, online and self-service capabilities

- Service Quality / ITIL Process implementation and maintenance, and continual service improvement

- Create and manage a Global client Support Desk including offline, online and self-service capabilities

- Managing the infrastructure elements of PCI DSS and other security and regulatory requirements, processes and systems including managing QSA and Audit activities

- Good oral and written communication skills, ability to create engaging material to support active stakeholder engagement.

- Proficient in implementing and operating service desk and operational procedures such as ITIL, eTOM, TickIT, CMMI.
