Client Details

The company is a global, growing pharmaceutical business. It is ambitious, exciting, and offers a defined career path for their new EMEA Financial Controller.

Description

Reporting to the General Manager, and supporting the wider business, this key role will be accountable for delivering the financial reporting, and associated accounting responsibilities for a large EMEA region.

Primary accountabilites will include:

Technical accounting and compliance to IFRS.

Month end reporting, ensuring that the close is accurate (in line with revenue recognition policies) and timely.

Statutory accounting

Leading the audit with both the external auditors, and working with the internal audit team

Tax and Treasury support

The position manages a team, and it will be required that the successful candidate has some experience of developing and coaching staff

Profile

To be successful, you will have gained audit experience from one of the Big 4 Accountancy firms, and have completed your ACA exams. With post qualification experience from the pharmaceutical sector, you will have developed a strong technical accounting skill set, and have managed staff in your recent role. CV's should have clear career progression, without too many moves.

The successful candidate will be results driven, with proven experience of successfully achieving goals. First class planning and prioritisation skills, and being commercially astute with previous P&L experience is essential.

Job Offer

A salary of between £90,000 and £110,000 depending on experience. A company car allowance and a 15% bonus.
