Client:
My client is recently established traditional contracting division of a well-known, established turnkey design and build fit-out business. They have been established for over 30 years and initially started life as an FF&E business, based on the strength of their relationships and quality of delivery they moved into main contracting. They have since built up and excellent name within the West Midlands workplace fit out the market as a creative, trustworthy and ethical business. Since their inception, they have since a steady and stable increase in their turnover year on year and are currently operating at circa £65m.
New Division:
* They have recently established a new traditional contracting division headed up by a well-respected and well-connected Managing Director. The business has the full support and backing of its parent company. It also aims to reflect the calculated and measured growth of its design and build counterpart with a Year 1 targeted turnover of £12m, Year 2: £18m and Year 3 of £25m.
* They are currently negotiating a number of projects directly to the end user that will be going live on site in Q3 2019. An initial target range of projects will be around the £1m - £3m bracket but they will not have a limit on the ceiling of the value. Quality of the delivery, complexity, client and long-term relationship will be key factors.

Role - Operations Director:
* My client is looking to appoint a senior level Operations Director to work alongside the MD. This is a vitally important and strategic appointment for my client who is looking for someone that not only can deliver but suits the company's culture. This role is very much geared towards 'the right individual' and they will seriously consider someone who is currently running a division/ P&L, operating in a similar capacity for their current employer or who is a very good contracts manager with experience running projects from inception to site who is looking to step out and forge a career with an up and coming business.
* The growth of the business will be built around the successful candidate with plans already in place for operational support from multiple project runners, experienced project managers, a fully-fledged commercial team with additional design and technical services input.
