Our client is a well-established and market leading technology and digital solutions company. The business has enjoyed exceptional success and fast growth and is now a c£250m turnover company. The business is part of a ‘world class’ multinational technology Group.

The business has an exceptional opportunity to appoint a new HR/Legal Director to drive strategy and streamline existing HR/Legal processes to bring them in line with the parent company.

Reporting to the CEO, this newly created role will see the successful individual join the Board of Directors as Group HR & Legal Director, responsible for driving & shaping the people strategy across the business.

The Group HR & Legal Director will need to be a dynamic, energetic and inspirational leader, who is well versed in developing a high performing people function across large organisations. You will be required to build a winning HR strategy, in a fast-paced, high growth organisation, creating, leading and implementing an evolving strategic HR plan that encompasses the goals and objections of the business. The Group HR & Legal Director will be responsible for spearheading Apogee’s HR & Legal functions.

Person Specification:

  • Extensive experience in a senior HR role (Business with turnover £100m+)
  • Qualified CIPD member
  • Ability to influence at all levels
  • Strong track-record in HR generalist and change management roles
  • Commercial acumen and credibility
  • Extensive experience of managing a team
  • Faultless communication and interpersonal skills
  • Thorough working knowledge of UK employment legislation

It is envisaged that candidates will have held HR Director roles in a business with a £100m+ turnover or potentially have been a Senior HR Manager ready to take their first Board appointment.

Candidates will have had a demonstrable track record of success building HR strategy, streamlining processes and the acquisition/integration of new companies.

This senior appointment will enjoy significant levels of autonomy and the appointee will be expected to play a major part in the operational success and development of the business. The successful candidate will enjoy a stimulating and rewarding high profile role with a genuine opportunity for significant career progression.
