BIE are currently looking for a Finance Integration Manager to join a FTSE 50 Media business that are rapidly growing organically and via acquisition.

Reporting directly in to the Head of Finance Integration this is an opportunity to develop with an ambitious business and work alongside multiple senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Project management

  • Provide project management for the financial workstreams for each of the integrations, together with project reporting
  • Assist with onboarding acquisitions
  • Define tasks, timetables, resources and budgets for finance work streams relating to such acquisitions

Integration

  • Align reporting processes and timetables
  • Identify key differences in process, systems or structures and flag to stakeholders
  • Align KPIs and metrics
  • Mapping of chart of accounts and reporting structures to enable both internal and external reporting
  • Source, translate, configure, import and reconcile data, financial and certain non-financial metrics, be they actual, budget, forecast or underlying
  • Build repeatable, consistent process for loading, consolidating and reporting the acquisition's financials
  • Liaise with R2R team and other GPOs as necessary to effect the required integration changes to systems or processes
  • Facilitate delivery of the divisions reporting requirements

Acquisition Support

  • Help develop an acquisition financial integration playbook

Process improvement

  • Align and optimise onboarding process across the different teams and SSCs

Support and oversight

  • Provide support to the acquisition for the business planning and budget processes
  • Synergy and integration cost accounting and reporting

Requirements:

  • Professional Accountancy Qualification - preferably ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Experience in managing complex, dynamic and challenging projects
  • Creation of project plans and implementing them
