The European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) is a public-private partnership with the mission to develop, deploy and maintain an integrated world-class supercomputing and data infrastructure across the European Union. By next year, it will equip the EU with pre-exascale and petascale supercomputers, with the objective of reaching exascale capabilities around 2022 or 2023. In this pivotal position, you will oversee all aspects of the day-to-day management of EuroHPC JU.
Your responsibilities:
- To deliver key objectives and deploy substantial budgets to best effect;
- To manage relationships with all public and private sector stakeholders;
- To develop and agree annual work plans, tenders and procurement documents.
Your skills:
- High-level management experience, spanning administrative, financial and technical specialists;
- A track record of directing research, technology development, innovation or infrastructure programmes within a European or international environment;
- Deep knowledge of the industrial landscape and technical challenges underpinning high performance computing.
