This is an amazing opportunity to be the Finance Director for a high growth tech business with private equity backing based in Reading.

Reporting to the CFO this role will have full responsibility for the finance team on its journey to being best in class. Key deliverables include team development and leadership, provision of high quality reporting to the board and the private equity investors and business partnering with sales and the commercial team. This position forms part of the team working to a 3-5 year growth plan comprising acquisitions and organic development. Therefore this role will also provide support with due diligence, data room creation and new organisation integration.

Overarching the role is a desire for continuous improvement, a commitment to delivery and the provision of customer service both internally and to external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be a qualified chartered accountant (ideally with some transactional services experience) who have progressed their career within commerce and industry. Private equity experience would be useful alongside a background of improving reporting within a tech or high volume transaction business. My client requires an inspirational leader who has a track record in building relationships within finance and the wider business and a strong communicator, able to explain complex concepts to non-finance individuals.
