Job Details
A truly exciting, varied and unique opportunity has become available to work for a global international development organisation who are at a pivotal point in their organisation's history. With exciting growth plans and a global strategic plan, the organisation has created this new position and is looking for an excellent senior candidate to come on board and be the face of global business change. This role includes 20-30% travel.
Main responsibilities include:
- Creating strategic initiatives, gaining approvals, funding and stakeholder buy-in, planning and leading execution of business transformations within the organisation's offices and field operations
- Overseeing and directing project work within the context of cross-functional project teams, supporting initiatives from finance, operations, supply chain and IT teams from offices around the world
- Leading the organisation to excellence through transformation initiatives in all aspects of finance, operations, supply chain and IT
- Forming collaborating and innovation to set strategy of business process, digital, tech and organisational transformation to drive organisational value optimisation, efficiency, effectiveness and cost reduction in finance and other business areas
- Project managing the global roll-out of improvements to the finance system (NetSuite)
The successful candidate will:
- Extensive experience working in INGO's or international charities
- Have a qualification in Business Administration/ Management, Finance, International Development or related field
- Posses a proven track record of success implementing business transformation in an international setting
- Be an agile, proactive and highly experience project manager (finance, IT and systems projects)
