The Organisation

Russam GMS is working with an NHS Outsourced Contract Service provider.

Our client is laying the plans for further significant growth since their recent management buyout.

They require several key senior operational high performers to provide the platform for significant growth in the next few years.

Due to their ambitious plans to double the size of the business they are looking for talented and hungry individuals to join them achieve their goals.

Role & Responsibilities

The Group Operations Manager will be pivotal in leading and transforming their services where you will be working closely with clients, directors, and departmental leads.

The Group Operations Manager will:

  • Support and deputise for Operations Director
  • Lead and develop the Regional Managers
  • Have Full P&L responsibility
  • Be comfortable interfacing and dealing with end clients both operationally and in support of new contracts and bids
  • Be involved in bid management, completion and submission
  • Recruit relevant staff including regional managers, team leaders, clinical staff, admin staff (schedulers) and field service engineers
  • Ensure needs of clients, NHS CCGs are filled and met

The Desired Applicant

The Group Operations Manager will:

  • Have a CCG Contract Management background
  • Project Manage and undertake new contract implementations
  • Have NHS tendering process experience
  • Have experience of Healthcare Operations Management and the delivery of complex services against performance targets
  • Possess first class leadership skills
  • Have a working knowledge of and undertake appropriate actions in relation to relevant health and social care legislation, policies and procedures, including safeguarding, and ensuring they are embedded into practice in the service
  • Have operational experience in providing Community Equipment Services

This is a permanent role with fantastic opportunities with regular travel.
