Job Details

The role of Financial Controller will suit an ACA qualified candidate with extensive PQE who can demonstarte strong management and leadership skills with exposure to the Board.

Some your responsabilities will include:

  • Lead the year end and half year end financial reporting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting output in accordance with IFRS in accordance with Group's timelines
  • Overall responsibility for the timing and accurate preparation of all financial information in the Group's annual report
  • Lead the preparation of information for the year end audit and the interim review
  • Overall responsibility for the audit process, ensure deadlines are met and accurate information is provided to the Company's auditors on time
  • Overseeing the preparation of the financial statements for the Company's subsidiaries and ensure filing deadlines are met
  • Implement and regulalary produce the preparation of monthly control external KPI packs as part of the month end process
  • Consolidate and provide a Financial overview of the management accounts for the Board and Shareholders
  • Management of Company's cash against existing treasury policy and external banking headroom
  • Pro-actively proposing and reviewing accounting policy, in conjunction with the FR team, providing technical advice and guidance to the rest of the business in relation to IFRS accounting treatments of various matters and getting formal sign off from the Parent company when required
  • Responsible for finance systems team, leading and implementing change as appropriate, ensuring that BAU KPI's are met on a regular basis
  • Managing the performance and development of the direct reports and their teams
  • Supporting the commercial team in the preparation of monthly, quarterly or budget/forecast information where required
  • Supporting the Finance Operations team in month end, budget, audit or business as usual processes where required
  • Reviewing and approval of expenses and payments
