Job Description:

Multinational ICT Company is expanding their consultancy business and are now looking for a seasoned consultants to join their European practice, with the position being at Associate Director levels. As a Consulting Team Manager you will help them to deliver complex engagements enabled by technology within the Banking and Financial Services sectors, while also support the practice across European region.

Ideally the right candidate will possess hands-on experience in delivering complex KYC/AML programmes and shaping target operating models within the KYC space. The candidate will also showcase a good understanding of global KYC regulations across CDD, AML, Sanctions Screening, Risk Monitoring and related process areas.

Business Consultants are expected to work with clients across the full project lifecycle. They will assess current state operations and technology capabilities in order to develop target operating models, business cases and roadmaps that guide organizations to realizing results through digital transformation.

Consultants work with domain experts and technologists to break strategic objectives down into achievable projects supported by compelling business cases. They help clients to clarify their operational and digital options, prioritize where to invest, and understand what return they should get from their recommendations. As projects move into delivery phases the consultant retains involvement and works to assure that projects focus on delivering the client's business objectives and that the recommendations and solutions deliver their full value potential.

  • Support the Consulting Practice within the Banking domain including mentoring, performance management and practice building
  • Lead client engagements whether as part of a pursuit or delivery effort, working with clients to drive business transformation through a consultative approach
  • Manage project design and delivery efforts including developing the project logic, project design, detailed work streams, team structure and deliverables
  • Develop strong key client relationships, managing client expectations and presenting final recommendations persuasively to senior teams
  • Facilitate and lead working sessions with clients, subject matter experts, stakeholders, consulting teams and technical teams
  • Manage analysis teams to elicit detailed business designs and partner with domain and technical teams to develop solution strategies as required
  • Help our clients assess their current digital technology maturity, identify gaps and shape a comprehensive, end-to-end digital blueprint and technology roadmap
  • Develop thought leadership and market offerings at the intersect of business and technology
  • Partner with global Practices, Regional heads, Domain SMEs and Delivery teams to ensure success in pursuits and delivery


Bachelors degree required; Masters in a relevant field from a top university preferred or equivalent level of evidence of business understanding through work experience.

Essential Requirements:
  • 10+ years of relevant consulting experience with a leading consulting firm working with clients in the Banking and/or Financial Services sectors; preference for candidates with deep experience in Digital Transformations
  • Experience in designing and delivering target state processes; identifying opportunities for simplification and automation; building robust business cases
  • Experience developing a deep understanding of client business needs and helping clients drive growth by balancing cost and capability
  • Ability to quickly grasp client strategic issues and dig further into root cause and potential solutions
  • Proven ability to lead discovery phase projects using a variety of methods such as Lean-Kaizen, Design Thinking, benchmarking, financial analysis, external benchmarking
  • Experience in shaping operating models and creating and executing business cases
  • Demonstrated client relationship-building skills
  • Deep experience working in large-scale IT programmes
  • Strong experience in leading the planning, facilitating and delivering of client workshops with 15 to 50 client members
  • Able to bring extensive knowledge of emerging technology trends in the Digital space across one or moreindustries
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with a proven track record in managing consulting teams, coaching and practice building activities
  • Effective communication in Spanish and English will be a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 80%
