The Opportunity

We're an up and coming telecoms build company who's already attracted a strong pipeline of work, reputable investment and other subject matter experts to join our senior management team. Owing to that rapid growth we're now looking for an experienced Finance Director to provide commercial analysis, develop financial strategy and implement control measures to ensure our continued expansion is scalable and sustainable.

As lead for the Group's financial function you'll be working closely with the CEO and other members of the senior leadership team to manage the organisation through a period of anticipated astronomical growth, it's going to be exciting yet challenging.
A lot of the elements of financial control and strategy are a blank slate at present so as Finance Director you'll have the opportunity to mould those as you see fit in line with business performance, new projects and the telecoms market in general.

Alongside that you'll oversee a growing accounts team and act as a point of escalation for internal and external stakeholders, contract organisations and our managers in the field.

This is a great opportunity for a finance or accounting professional who enjoys the satisfaction and variety of getting into a business in its early stages and watching the strong process, methodology and reporting structure you put in place help it flourish.

All About You
If you're a senior finance professional with experience in the telecoms, infrastructure build or utilities sectors we'd love to hear from you.

This is not a role for someone to make a leap upwards into and you will have worked at this level before, we're looking to bring in people with expertise who perhaps aren't challenged enough or given scope to continue developing in their current role. Realistically you'll need to be a CIMA Chartered Accountant.
You'll have strong business acumen and can combine that with a strategically aligned approach to financial objectives.

Crucially, if you've contributed to a growing telecoms, utilities or infrastructure organisation or start up and can point to key areas where you've shaped their financial or commercial operations get in touch to tell us about them!
This Finance Director role is going to be ideal for someone who has previously managed a young department and isn't afraid to go back to basics and write the rule book in a new operation from scratch, as opposed to managing a finished article and a polished team.

Package
A basic salary in the region of £90,000 - £100,000 alongside a car allowance and a list of flexible benefits would be included as per expected for a role at this level.
Moving forward a KPI driven LTIP would be included.
