Commercial Director

Location: UK
Sector: FMCG/Food/Sales/Retail/Brand
Base Salary: £90k, 50% bonus and executive package.

Our client is a rapidly growing British food company who have enjoyed significant success in recent times across UK Grocery and Highstreet channels. Due to further planned growth, they are looking to appoint a Commercial Director.

The Role:

• A key member of the senior management team you will operate in a customer facing leadership position and own the group’s commercial function.
• Will design and deliver a UK growth strategy working closely alongside colleagues and customers to ensure targets are achieved.
• Will lead and mentor a multifunctional team with overall accountability for the group’s sales, account management, marketing and NPD functions with 8 direct reports.

The Person:

• Degree educated you will have a proven track record in the UK food sector with the ability to lead and mentor a multifunctional team to success.
• You will have significant exposure to UK grocery customers with the ability to prove you can increase profitable revenues.
• An excellent relationship builder with the gravitas to represent the business at the highest level.
