The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union (DG FISMA) is responsible for initiating and implementing policies relating to the EU’s financial sector. DG FISMA’s mission is to develop stable, well-regulated and globally competitive EU financial markets in the interest of businesses, investors and consumers.
Your responsibilities:
- Contribute to the articulation and development of financial services policy and provide strategic advice to the Director-General;
- In close coordination with the Directors responsible for the relevant policy areas, assist the Director-General or the Deputy Director- General in relation to EU and international organisations in which they represent the Commission.
Your skills:
- Proven experience and well-established capacity in providing expert advice and issue opinions at strategic level;
- Excellent knowledge of EU policies in the fields of financial services, financial markets, financial stability and good understanding of the EU decision-making process;
- Demonstrated capacity to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
