My client, a leading lifestyle retailer, requires a Head of Engineering on an initial 6 month contract as the organisation goes through a number of large scale transformations around E-Commerce, Product and Data.
The technology stack is mainly JVM, so technical experience is important. However this is a largely 'hands-off' role, with management skills and experience of supporting transformations more important.
The organisation has a number of large agile teams which you'd be expected to manage, so relevant experience of managing large-scale agile teams is imperative.
