Job Details

A FTSE listed client is looking for an experienced Shared Service Director to drive significant finance transformation within the largest of this highly acquisitive business's Shared Service Centres.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join a business on a huge growth trajectory.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A proven track record of achieving cost savings, head-count reductions and enforcing best practice within large Shared Service Centres.
  • Strong Shared Service Centre exposure and experience.
  • Multiple examples working within large-scale finance transformation programmes.
  • Experience working with SAP.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. It's necessary to be able to inspire, coach and motivate the SSC employees and develop relationships across the business.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing a strategic plan on how to most effectively cost-cut and reduce headcount within a large finance Shared Service Centre.
  • Be responsible for 0-based budgeting.
  • In depth analysis and streamlining of finance processes (O2C, P2P, R2R) and establsihment of best practice.
  • Being a strong, empowering leader and embracing significant change and transformation.

Long term there will be the opportunity to help consolidate various Shared Service Centres and be the Director of more than one across Europe. Additionally, due to the growth of the business, there is likely to be an opportunity to move within the business and manage finance transformation on a wider scale.
