Global IT Director to implement NetSuite ERP globally - London Based

As Global IT Director, you will function in a matrix organisation by addressing regional and global operation IT needs through planning projects, coordinating efforts, designing solutions, and directing IT personnel, you will lead the global IT leadership team responsible for defining and implementing IT policies, procedures, and best practices. The Global IT Director will work closely with other regional decision makers in other functional departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective business solutions both regionally and globally.

• Lead operational and strategic IT planning, administration, organisation and negotiation for both the business and contracted resources
• Oversee all technology operations (e.g. network security) and evaluate them according to established goals
• Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management
• Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs
• Purchase efficient and cost effective technological equipment and software
• Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency
• Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management
• Coordinate IT specialism and supervise computer scientists, technicians and other professionals to provide guidance
• Manage global IT budget development and review, as well as provide senior level controllership
• Collaborate with key leadership to define business and systems requirements, potential technical solutions, and recommended technical approaches for internal application implementation
• Develop business case rationalisations and cost/benefit analyses for IT investments and initiatives
• Coordinate with the project heads on IT related projects and project portfolios
• Negotiate and manage vendor, outsourced, and consultant contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

Profile

Global IT Director to implement NetSuite ERP globally - London Based

• Proven experience with aligning an IT organisation with enterprise-level goals and objectives in a matrix organisation
• Proven experience with IT planning, development, and management
• Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
• Proven experience utilising Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management (PM) methodologies for system implementations
• Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, global, collaborative environment
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
  • Experience maintaining mid-sized business ERP(especially SAP and NetSuite), CRM, and Financial systems is desirable.
• Experience working in a E-Commence environment is desirable.
