THE ROLE AND THE ONLINE BUSINESS

This is a high profile new role fulfilling a strategic focus and delivering in a fast paced high volume online trading environment with a multi million £ channel specific revenue streams secured across a number of different online channels.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Day-to-day operational management of the suite of online channels
  • Team leadership across multi-site operations
  • Development of online trading strategy
  • Drive growth and conversion of sales penetration through online channels
  • Development of revenue opportunities
  • Enhancement of customer experience
  • Use of product and process development to build greater confidence in online purchasing
  • Evaluation of current product set, identification of gaps, creation of roadmap for future channel development
  • Production of trading reports, analysis & other reporting
  • Budget management

PERSON PROFILE
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful commercial programmes
  • Previous online trading experience at a senior level
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Excellent understanding of product selection and suitability
  • Naturally numerate and analytical
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong values fit with the organisation
  • A self-assured leader who has extensive experience leading diverse teams and getting the best out of people
  • Experience of operating in a multi-channel business arena
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry is desirable but not essential.
