Financial Controller

Our client is a VC backed high growth, international Media business. Their rapid growth means they now require a Financial Controller to manage all aspects of their accounting, reporting and decision support analysis.

The role is really varied and will involve you in all areas of the business, and you will be responsible for financial control and processing as well as providing appropriate financial analysis to the board. The role is hands-on and requires an Accountant with broad finance experience.  

Reporting to the Finance Director as a genuine No.2, this is a very interesting role in a busy office with a real international and online focus.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Manage all aspects of reporting, monthly and annual, budgets, forecast, as well as tax and all other aspects of administration & compliance . 
• Understand business performance and processes, manage stock and supply chain, whilst  driving improvements and taking corrective action.
• All aspects of cash flow forecasting, working capital, debt and currency process for the business.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant with broad financial experience, some of which will have been gained in a fast paced consumer facing SME. The business is seeking a candidate that has the ability to progress to Finance Director within a couple of years as the business grows. 

Strong communication skills are essential as is the ability to influence at all levels in this high profile role.
