Our client is a well known international energy consultancy focusing on life-cycle of assets (subsurface, EPC to decommissioning) mainly within the oil & gas sector with a turnover of £150 million. Its reputation is built upon an unstinting commitment to high levels of service, integrity, and innovation.

The mandate is to profitably grow the business through the diversification of its services and transitioning from a transactional approach to a strategic mind-set, focusing on value propositions, cross-selling opportunities and deeper relationships with clients. Reporting to the CEO and taking full commercial and sales responsibility, you will:

 Develop the client-centric go-to-market strategy and embed a solutions driven ethos, which meets the needs of the international client base.

  • Drive performance globally through communication and motivation to reshape the sales team and set clear objectives and accountability
  • Provide proactive leadership, pace and guidance to co-ordinate, influence and close sales globally in a matrix environment
  • Implement innovative commercial initiatives to move into higher value services as a favoured strategic partner of choice

Degree qualified, with a proven successful record of accomplishment in leading and transforming sales in an oil/gas services business, contractor or consultancy on a global basis, where there is a strong client interface. You will have outstanding interpersonal, business development, strategic and people skills. Your background must include oil & gas, related infrastructure, and understanding of the wider changing energy sector. You will have the vision and drive, combined with a hands-on style to deliver. This is a high profile appointment.
