Group Reporting Manager
Our client is a FTSE 100 company based in central London. The business is highly acquisitive and performing very well across the Group, with significant share price accretion over the last few years.
Reporting directly to the Deputy Group Financial Controller, we are currently searching for a Group Reporting Manager who will be responsible for the delivery of the Group’s consolidated results, maintaining the control environment, developing the reporting systems and playing a key role in various ad-hoc projects including M&A. The role will manage the Group’s financial statements and ensure timely delivery of the Group’s consolidated reporting, alongside safeguarding compliance with the Group’s accounting policies. You will be accountable for the consistent application of these policies as well as providing technical support and guidance on best practice in the sector and on any complex areas of accounting and reporting. This role will manage a small team and will form a key part of the finance function.
The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified accountant, ACA or equivalent, with a first class academic background and experience gained in a similar role in a listed Group. You will ideally have qualified in a large professional services firm. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and be adept in developing relationships with colleagues at all levels across the business. You must be able to demonstrate experience of consolidated reporting in a PLC environment, improving and maintaining a strong internal control environment and large scale reporting systems. We are looking for a personable finance professional who is keen to drive continuous improvement, be hands-on to help support the delivery of multiple projects and to implement change.
