Finance & Accounting Manager
One of the world's leading law firms is currently looking to recruit a Finance & Accounting Manager into its London office. Managing a team of six, this is the number one finance role in Europe, ensuring compliance with the firm's and regulatory bodies' accounting policies and procedures in Europe. Reporting into the Director of Administration this role is an important part of the London management team.
The role's responsibilities are focused around the management and development of the finance team members; running the region's budgeting process and working with the budget holders on variances throughout the year; managing the annual external audit process; and maintaining the region's financial controls and regulatory requirements. Making sure the office are operating within the SAR regulatory framework, submitting quarterly VAT returns, preparation of annual LLP accounts and liaising with external tax advisors when required are all part of the role's remit as is managing the banking relationships and overseeing all of the finance operations in the region. The successful candidate will become the UK's COFA so previous experience of working in this role would be advantageous.
Applicants should be qualified accountants with excellent professional services experience, preferably in an international law firm environment. Core technical accounting skills coupled with excellent written and verbal communication are both prerequisites.
