Shaw Trust is a progressive and ambitious charity and we are proud to have supported disabled people and those who are socially excluded for over 30 years, effecting positive change on behalf of those who need it most through the provision of education, training and employment. With an annual turnover of £200m, 4,000 dedicated staff and 1,038 volunteers, we’re now a top 25 national charity and we work in partnership with major government departments to help children of all ages, adults and older people to gain new skills, move into work and to live independent and included lives.

This is a critical juncture in Shaw Trust’s history as we pursue diversification, acquisition and growth and our new Chief Financial Officer will play a critical role in leading us to achieve our aims. We operate in an extremely competitive sector and are looking for a high calibre individual with sharp commercial acumen to work closely with our new Chief Executive, Chris Luck. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be a key player in creating and maintaining the performance of Shaw Trust’s financial and administrative services. You will ensure effective strategic and operational forecasting, planning, monitoring and reporting, as well as managing our relationships with our banks. Overall you will enhance the decision-making process of Shaw Trust and ensure the compliance with all relevant statutory and external requirements and regulations.

You will be a qualified Chartered Accountant operating at Board level with excellent up-to-date knowledge of best practice in financial accountancy.
