Are you experienced within Business Development and Sales, with experience working with API's?

Imagine working in a FinTech start-up working on one of the first Open Banking products which has received plaudits from the likes of Lloyds and Barclays as well as smaller organisations. This is your chance to join the founding team and be creative with your technical and strategic skills.

You'll come into the office in the morning, chat with like-minded people about how to change banking and do it. You'll be the first ones doing it too and learning from each other all the time. Sounds good, right!

Being one of the founding team, you'll be set up to be able to move around the company, help grow the team and be able to look back and say "I was there!". You'll also get the great perks that come with it like equity and with investors queuing up for the next round of investment already, it's looking sweet.

I am supporting a dynamic and forward-thinking FinTech start-up in their hunt for an exceptional Head of Sales and Business Development. Do you have passion for solving problems? Are you a creative thinker and you want to apply it to the Financial Technology industry? Do you have good interpersonal skills? Do you understand what selling API's to enterprise clients means? Do you take a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities?

Your mission will be to build strategic relationships within accounts in EMEA region and maximise development and growth opportunities. You'll seek new business opportunities, and ensure you are achieving and expanding new and existing revenue and customer loyalty through Account Management.

As part of this role, you will help to shape the product offering and spot market opportunities for new customers and well as monitoring the commercial performance of accounts within a portfolio. You will have the chance to start building your team almost straight away, and have 1 direct report from day one.

In order to be suitable to apply for this position, you will need to have the following:
-8+ working experience in financial technology enterprise software sales.
-Proven account management and sales experience at senior management level within the B2B Fintech Industry.
- Experience within Open Banking
-Experience of selling APIs and connectivity enterprise sales
-Experience in building and executing Sales Plans.
-A clear understanding of key performance indicators, both financial and otherwise.

You will receive up to ??90k basic salary, plus shares and a generous incentive/commission scheme. You will also receive a 3% company pension contribution and 25 days holiday.
