Head of Content - Birmingham - Up to ??60,000 & Benefits
An award-winning tech agency are currently are seeking an ambitious Head of Content to join their dynamic Experience team and help create great products and services for some of the world's most ambitious brands. Due to the array of clients that you'll be working with, your time will be equally split between the agency's two offices located in London and Birmingham.
The Role
As the Head of Content, you will work within multidisciplinary teams to design, create and iterate content, taking ownership for its quality throughout the user journey, using evidence, data and research to back up your decisions.
Your daily duties will include, but won't be limited to:
- Creating content and developing strategies to help digital products meet user needs and business objectives
- Working effectively with SMEs, stakeholders and partners to deliver clear, relevant content
- Ensuring all content assets are user-focused, accurate and appropriately optimised
- Working with colleagues to understand user behaviours and data patterns to improve how products perform
- Managing and mentoring content strategists as required
The suitable individual will be an experienced practitioner and advocate of content design, with the ability to oversee the creation of a diverse range of outputs, ranging from one-page brand narratives to concept pitch decks, infographics, journey maps and digital experiences. As the Head of Content, you will be collaborative in your approach, working with a variety of diverse teams to ensure content is optimised for UX and the user journey.
You'll have an awareness of wider digital trends and will use your knowledge to inform and inspire others, whilst helping to develop and evolve the content strategy practice. You will also use this knowledge to conduct inspiring workshops with clients and colleagues, helping them find new ways to articulate their ideas and experiences.
Excellent interpersonal, organisational and presentation skills are essential, as well as a dynamic personality and the ability to effectively engage with a variety of audiences. Any previous agency experience is highly beneficial, but not mandatory.
In addition to competitive salary of up to ??60,000, the Head of Content will receive a generous benefits package to be disclosed on application.
